Daily reminder that we cant mute teammate pings

Less than daily reminder that some form of communication is required in a team game. Before you say, "Well, I'll just mute the toxic people, and keep everyone else the same." Nah nah nah. Some people go into game, and type /muteall the second the game begins. You can bet your second best pair of pandas, that there will be people who mute pings and chat the moment the game begins.

So what if they muteall? That is their right to do it. The game allows it, and the lower your elo, the more useless the chat function is.

They allow muting of chat because some people abuse the chat system to harass people, spam, be obnoxious, etc. People do all of these same things with pings, and it should be mutable.

If somebody really wants to ignore their teammates, they can, whether the system lets you mute others or not.

But you should not force people to deal with literal babies who mash buttons and giggle at the funny noises for 30 straight minutes.
