About this "pre-season" thing ... and why season 1-3 runes were better

Let me explain why ... there were 6 runes for damage , and the rest was for buffing your :

1. - shields
1. - heals
1. - wards (you could buff your vision to +350 units, increasing by lv)
1. ingame exp
1. gold
1. etc..

now it's all about pure damage ...

Riot , if you want to copy overwatch for level + box , you have to do it as they did ... all champions should be free , and from boxes we should get icons,emotes,wards and skins ... this is why OVERWATCH is so famous and nobody complains about the mistakes of the company ... they don't force u to play endless amount of games for a champion ...

You have to pay like 60$ for overwatch tho. If riot was charging to play the game it would make more sense that they give out stuff for free.

If Overwatch was made by EA the heroes would have to be paid aswell in addition of the game. Also if someone have gambling addiction, Blizzard isn't responsible for it.

shit then why regulate gambling? because it's not the fault of the gambling companies, it's that person's fault right? no, the lootbox system is made with the purpose of preying on those with gambling problems, Blizzard could simply do it like LoL skin wise, put skin in store, you buy it, end of deal, but that means they can't profit from those with gambling addictions, loot boxes however, it's exactly the same as gambling, it offers 0 benefits to consumers, in fact it only offers downsides all to prey on those with gambling addictions

You can't compare it like that. Overwatch doesn't have champs to buy, while League does. Overwatch JUST has aesthetics/cosmetics to lootbox. League has champs and cosmetics, neither of which are mandatory (can theoretically be grinded, outside of skins).

as santozed said , lootboxes in overwatch provide skins and icons , as there is nothing else you can buy with real money in the game ... in league this is a fail because nothing is "free"
