Something needs to happen with jayce

I know riot has been trying to make jayce balanced for a while now but its just not working. PERSONALLY, i think he just needs to have either his stats gutted or have way more skill shots than he currently does. the fact that his damage is almost entirely point and click makes him nearly impossible to play against if you're countered by him, his numbers don't make any sense, with him having high scaling, high base numbers, mixed damage, tanky base stats on top of him being able to synergise with many different items and build paths, he feels like a god sent champion with no real weakness outside of user error. Now to be fair, i'm incredibly biased against him being a top lane melee player so maybe i'm just a salty spatoon but with him being picked in the LCS, being pick or ban in solo Q right now, and having a win rate of 51%, with a 7% pick rate, i think i'm more than justified in saying something needs to change more than "his E costs slightly more mana." maybe whatever solution i could offer/come up with is too much but there IS a problem when this champion keeps becoming top tier OVER and OVER again in both solo Q and LCS.
