Champion Diversity...What should we Expect?

As Riot makes more and more championsIllaoi Jhin and gives others reworksGraves i am noticing the little quirks and interactions on them. Illaoi with her tentacles spawning on walls....jhin and graves with the reload and jhin with his extremely long range. Should we expect more champions to be so greatly diverse? When i think of champions like olaf and yi and many others who are...."normal?" I wonder if Riot is changing from that normality to a more complicated but fun types of champions. Also, what is it with champions and 3 or 4 hit interactions....gnar, braum, vayne, jhin, ekko, etc....it is pretty repetitive....ekko, jhin and gnar with the move speed....why so much of that type of interaction on champs? I am interested on yalls' thoughts on these things.

Riot is trying to make everyone unique instead of the same champion with slightly different skills. It's always been Q is AA reset, W is movement or utility, and E is CC ability or something like that with the older champs. They were all pretty similar. They want to make sure everyone has a unique identity instead of "xerath is like ziggs but better".
