The Syndra Nerf D:< (includes actual math)

Updated to reflect the 4/21 PBE Update. Also I calmed down a lot after sleeping last night. And yes I know it is PBE. Riot has a habit of pushing this kind of stuff live without ever giving it tweaks.
Syndra's Q damage was upgraded to 0.75 instead of 0.7. This is still a nerf. Here's the math with the same variable of 300 AP.
New Max Q Damage
230+0.75AP
230 base DMG + 225(the 0.75AP bonus) = 455 Total DMG
Compared to the Original Q DMG, it is still lacking in power. The Original Q can still output 471.5 Total DMG. In order for this New Q to break even, you would need 325AP (which gives you 473.75 Total DMG) instead of the 350AP needed with the 0.7AP scaling. If the Original Q had 325AP, you would have 488.75 DMG.
This is not a compensation for the loss of the 15% bonus DMG. No matter how good they try to make it seem that way, the DMG will never be the same.
Let's say you have 300 AP.
Old Max Q Damage at Rank 5:
230+0.6AP (+15% DMG)
230 base DMG + 180(the 0.6AP bonus) = 410 total DMG + 15% Bonus DMG = 471.5 Total DMG
New Max Q Damage at Rank 5:
230+0.7AP
230 base DMG + 210(the 0.7AP bonus) = 440 Total DMG
You NERFED her Q. You would need 350 AP (which brings the new Max Q DMG to 475) in order to surpass the Original Max DMG. And if you had 350 AP with the Original Passive, her Q would do 506 DMG. I don't know who's doing your math in the office, but this is straight bullshit.

1.5 Slow + 0.495 (the 33% Slow for Max Rank) = 1.995 Total Slow
New Max Rank W
1.5 Total Slow. Period.
Going off what I see on S@20, her DMG is staying the same. BUT SHE'S LOSING HER EXTRA SLOW??? Do you know how useful that slow was to her kit? Do you know how important it was at securing kills? Syndra sure as hell moves like a turtle. That extra slow at least made it useful in team fights. I'm sure you can't do double damage with two spheres. That would be broken now wouldn't it? We surely can't have broken champions in League~. I don't care about carrying two spheres. I'm skilled enough to where I only needed one. Even when I started maining her, One sphere was all I needed. Are you trying to make her easier for new players?

Skill Cooldown lowered to 16/15/14/13/12
Okay. This is the only buff I see. Even then it's such a slight buff that it doesn't overlook the NERFS she's going through. I can't even thank you Rito because I was fine with the original cooldown times.
Do you think this is okay? Do you think this is funny? Is this fun? Honestly. Who the hell works at your company and thinks it's okay to nerf the most important part of Syndra's kit? Creating more diverse champions and giving you a reason to chose them over others? Who the hell would choose Syndra once these changes go live??? This update is horrible! It's complete BULL-SHIT.

even more AP when he uses a spell on champions? That would've been better on Syndra! God...DAMMIT RITO.
Oh, but let's not stop there. Noooooo, this nerf is far greater than what people who don't play Syndra may think. With the new items. The new AP Items Rito are unleashing into the world will make it even harder to build AP. AP nerfs across the board. Add in the nerf to Mana Regen and there really isn't a choice on whether to choose Syndra in a match. In all seriousness, Riot, the people you're letting make these decisions need to be fired.
I love Syndra. I'm still going to play her. But it's not going to be fun. I've already been dreading this game since Pre-Season because it's not fun. You're screwing up your own game with your own bullshit ideas. This right here, the math provided, is proof that Syndra has been thrown to the side. The MYMU was supposed to help Mages. Not kill them off.
nets you very high AP gain (I believe about 740; PBE isn't opening for me at the moment so I can't verify the exact numbers), more than what you'd get on live, 20% CDR, and a whole lot of mana. Mana regen isn't needed when your pool is simply this big. (And no, you won't go 'oom in two teamfights'). Factor in runes, masteries, blue buff, and your potential AP is much higher than you'd get before.
