Could we match people by level for Normal matches?
TL;DR Separate players ques based on levels. E.g. player levels 1-10 are matched. Level 11-20 are matched together. And 21-30 are matched.
I've mostly been having this happen a lot to both extremes of the win/lose spectrum. I think there needs to be a better matching system for those that play Normal games. The best example I can give is what Splatoon did for their playerbase. Players ranging from Lvl 1 to Lvl 20 are in their own matchmaking que. While players Lvl 21 to Lvl 50 are grouped together. This makes it easier for new players to jump in and enjoy the game without getting stomped into the ground by the dude with 300+hrs of game time. Then once they get used to the game and know what they're doing, they move into the higher que. Couldn't this be done for League as well?

I'm talking Normal matches. Ranked is only unlocked once you understand the game and mastered various points of it. I've been in more than a few matches where I see an enemy team have some players under Lvl 18 and a single Plat player that destroys us. I've had Gold and Diamond players on my team before, yet they just goof off or don't communicate. I understand Normals aren't as intense as Ranked. So why is this allowed? At the same time I get ridiculous victories because the enemy team are all new players. With League the way it is, the only time I seem to enjoy it is when I'm with players of my own skill level. Yeah it can make me salty as all hell, but at least I'm against people who are equal or even better.
Taking the Splatoon example, couldn't League add in code to make match making more fair? They could make it an even split where Lvl 1-15 are matched together, while 16-30 are pooled against each other. Or even break it down even more. Put Lvl 1-10 in their own pool. Lvl 11-20 in a different area. And Lvl 21-30 in the higher tier. Doesn't this sound more fair? Why are you going to put a Lvl 1 in a team of Lvl 15+ and expect the newbie to perform like a Plat player? (Believe me, I've seen some harsh rages towards my teammates last season and this season.) Positivity can only go so far in this game because sooner or later you'll transform into a salt dispenser.
I know League is a shattered mirror right now. Just help the players out and not just the LCS teams.
