Executioner's calling is inherently unfair

For 800 gold, any AD champion can counter the healing of any champion in the game. This is incredibly unfair to any champion with an identity that revolves around healing (Dr. Mundo, Swain, Zac for example). Morrellonomicon require's a significant investment (2900 gold) and only kicks in when the target is below 35% health. If healing is a big problem in league, then adjust the healing on the champions. It just feels unfair that Dr. Mundo's ultimate is basically countered by an 800 gold item.

It isn't like people build the item anyways.

Otherwise, I wouldn't have to grab it as Jungle Rammus when my team has three AD champions and the enemy team has Mundo and Swain.

so what if its unfair to healers?

excessive healing is toxic anyways based upon the meaningful decisions design value

If mundo wants to heal and someone has executioners then he can just back the hell up and avoid taking physical damage like a good toxicass fighter

item 3123 : 15 Attack Damage Unique Passive - Executioner: Physical damage inflicts Grievous Wounds on enemy champions for 3 seconds.

Builds into item 3033 Costs 800 gold

Do you know what else I can buy with 800'ish gold? item 1037 item 1026 item 3114

Any AD type champion can buy that item, true, but not every champion beneficts from what you can do after. Not only that, but not that many champions get that punished because of that item. The best I can think of is Mundo and the other option is still better than Mortal Reminder.

If you are ADC against a support Soraka and you buy that item, I can tell you that you lost your lane. You don't buy such a week item just to counter a support that has a heal every 5 seconds. You migh consider to buy it later, but you are better off buying something usefull against the other 4 enemy champions.

Also, If that item didn't exist, everyone would complain about "lack of counterplay" and they would be correct.

Not sure why downvoted. Executioner's calling is an item that should never have existed in its current state. I haven't been around for long so I'm guessing it was meant to be a counter to a previous meta/patch/season or whatever. But right now? nope.

I assume grievous wounds exists to make healing less effective while in combat. Though I'd rather see heals just explicitly be less effective while in combat. But this is fine.

Mundo doesn't give a damn s out grievous wounds in the late game
