Diana's Q projectile change

With the update in the projectile system, is it now possible to allow the player to change the orientation of Diana's Q? I know it's been requested multiple times in the past, and it seems like it wouldn't be that hard of a change with the new system in place.

It's been suggested by players that if Diana presses R without a target, it will change the orientation of her Q, maybe with a visual indicator showing the change was successful.
