Too many games that I've played have been hindered during champion select due to the simple fact that I can't edit my runes in the lobby. There are so many champions that I can't play if their specific rune sets aren't docked in my Book. Riot, I seriously desire (and I'm sure I'm not alone) the option to edit Runes before game for better matchups!! PLEASE!

Rundus14 votes90% of me agrees completely. The other 10% is still busy earning IP so my broke self can get enough rune pages to properly the diverse champ pool i own comfortable bc I cant change runes in lobby and need the pages all premade.

TheRatsInTheWall1 votesIt's part of the design of the game. So much so that I regularly tell new players to consider buying the 7-page bundle as the cost of buying the game (once they've tried it enough to know they want to keep playing).
Have a strategically diverse rune page, or get enough to specialize.

I mean, most AP carries function off of the same basic runes (a lot are obsolete) but if I could just pop in and change scaling health with mana regen, or armor, it could make/break a matchup. The fact that Riot is releasing MILLIONS of skins tells me they don't need these damn rune pages to be bought with RP. It's stupid. Some pages I want permanent, sometimes I really want to play a champion to eat the enemy, but my runes don't qualify. It's jacked up, and it's NOT what Riot promises as far as diversity goes. Cheap skates is what they are.
