Active items in the game, once used and on cooldown, don't display a dimmed image any longer. It can be really confusing for items or spells with charges (i.e Smite or Yellow trinket) if it's lit and not actually usable. Just a clarity issue.

I agree, escpecially the warding trinket, always confuses me dat I have ward available and makes me move close to a bush and press 4 then nothing happened and I got insta killed

Went to ward a bush. Didn't have a ward. Got nunu ulted.
I wasn't sure if this was intentional or not. I think it looks nicer, but it is harder to tell when items are able to be used.
I know, it is quite irritating. Hopefully it will be repaired soon, but we will most likely have to wait for the next patch.
until they fix it just pay attention to if you have a line in the middle of the image somewhere. Anything on cooldown still tracks how long is left on cooldown with the little line going around the image. If theres no line, item or spell is available. If line is present, unavailable.
