PSA: The difference between breaking the meta and a dumb pick

I don;t know about anyone else but I have seen a huge influx of people claiming to want to "break the meta" with their choices and to be honest, I am all in favour of this, it is a positive thing for the game to have happen to it and it brings new insight into champion balance. With all that being said there is a VERY clear difference between challenging the meta and just being dumb with your champ picks. For example

Skarner VS Fiora SUPPORT

Skarner. Teamfight oriented kit Can secure kills with Ult Has a devastating slow and CC Can be built full tank and still carry devastating damage Not gold reliant

Fiora. Has a institutional heal Has a CC that can only be applied when Pluto aligns with Polaris

Can you guess which one is which?

I see what you mean. For example, Renekton could be considered an off-meta jungler, his clear isn't the greatest, but he does have some good early game damage with his ganks, can scale well with item 1409 item 3748 and can cancel his w animation with smite.

However, Janna is a dumb pick for a jungler because she has no jungling capability.

Foxdrop went Fiora support in a recent video, so that makes it meta and legit now. Don't you know that?
