Games are too snowbally?

With the last preseason and season 6 everything seems more "broken" in a sense that everything dies really fast, also there is little comeback potential. Last season you had to either win early game and not throw and finish the game until the late game comp catches up (this took much more skill) or as another side - try to be on par early to utilize your scaling in the late game. I'm watching LCS now and what catches my eye is that some games last up to 45-50 minutes. "So, it's fine then?" you may ask. I believe it's not. Teams are playing scared as hell. One lost fight in a game with a score about 0-2 leads to a subsequent ace and a rapid snowball. Imo, it is not even snowball, it's avalanche. I think that if Riot wanted to prevent long 1-hour stall games, they made a wrong extreme decision. Yes, in some cases the extreme snowball makes ending a game easier, but in general it makes people trying to stall as much as possible. What do you think?

The idea is a fast meta. They want the game to snowball fast. And with the way that they're slowly moving the game with subtle changes such as teamwide bounty gold, they're making it combat oriented. The game is meant to have you quickly shove any advantage, faster than the other teams, and shutting down the other team's. That being said, it takes more skill and effort to win a losing game and turn it around (which for most players feels better to triumph over something looming and threatening), than to stall and sit there for forever. The game creates a more early game focused meta, where characters who can snowball themselves in multiple ways in the early game being the strongest. Mundo is a good example for this, when he gains health, he increases his damage in 3 ways, meaning if he can snowball himself either through good farm, kills, or assists, then he can snowball the entire game by being unkillable and doing a lot of damage. The LCS is very careful around the early game for this reason, they don't want their opponents to get snowbally, so they rely soley on their mid laner +Jungler or Bot Laners + Jungle. They win the game by being incredibly safe early game, and taking small advantages early, and win teamfights because they can group earlier and finish the game. In day 1 of the LCS, I believe it was a mistake for TSM to pick Mundo, because he almost requires being snowballed, which means that CLG will obviously focus him hard and make sure he can't do anything.

I hope that helped on why the game is currently working the way it is.
