While I agree norms are more lighthearted than ranked, I only play norms so its the most real league experience that I have and people treating it like a joke is starting to really bother me :(

I just wish people would take it for what it is, a more stress free time sure, but also its where you should be practicing for ranked and improving your skills. Locking in AD when ur last pick mid in Draft and declaring our team full AD dooms us to lose if the enemy tanks have half a brain. If you aren't going to simulate a Ranked setup at least then you are never going to get the opportunity to improve and wastes everyone's time. Practicing good team composition is important too and making selfish picks can turn a potential victory into a waste of time come late game.

I know it's annoying to have your match decided a lot of the time in champ select, but tbh League is still a game, and a lot of people do play it for fun.

As a support main it's extra frustrating, because you try to find the 'utility' that matches best with your team, because otherwise you'll be useless and have a frustrating time- while your team doesn't just doesn't care. Braum and Taric are mostly siege supports- I'd suggest picking up some more 'carry' type supports for when your team doesn't build a siege-comp- you'll feel better. I'm a Leona main so I know how bad it can hurt XD

Problen is, im one of those that enjoys trying to win with full AD team, or full AP team, full yordle team, etc. It is practicing different skills and builds that could work if faced with that in ranked. Yes it happena quite a bit in ranked.

You are not doomed to fail unless you give up. Full AD teams have won vs regular teams woth tanks building full armor, etc. Not as hard as you may think. Black cleaver and last whisper and you just nullified abput half their armour (less but you know what i mean) while getting a bit of hp and cdr. Its worse when its a full AP team because there is no 25% magic resist reduction item. Its just magic pen and void staff. Admittedly you can go ad and just auto attack everyone to death, but you know what i mean.

So lets look at it this way. Who is right: The side that believes ranked is for serious gameplay and normals are for fun and other types of gameplay. Or The side that only plays normals so they take it as seriously as others do ranked.
