Do Control Wards give true sight?
I was reading the wiki and I am confused, do Control Wards give true sight? or was that changed to like a weird variant of it when they removed pink wards?

No, they don't. They give the same kind of vision a trinket ward gives but they can cancel out opposing wards.
Control wards are not vision wards. They reveal stealthed wards and traps, but not champions.
We really need those greater totems back.
