So in ranked I am trying to climb to gold and I have been able to do so quickly as I have a high mmr so i gain a lot of lp, i quickly got to s3 and almost got into s2 but then lost my promos lul, but I am afraid im going to go on a huge losing streak. So my main question is that if i deserve a rank will i eventually get to it?

Long story short just try get Gold for the seasonal rewards and don't play ranked again after you hit gold outside of the occasional game here and there to prevent decay if you get Gold early on in the season.

S5-S3 is a magical realm where you can go from S5 0 LP to S3 100 LP in one sitting and then go back to S5 0 LP. When you get to S2 you just sort of coast up to your Gold promos. After that it's just a matter of if you get paired with new players or veterans. You'll get paired quite a bit with new players unless your MMR is at least 2+ divisions because of the base MMR/ELO that everyone starts with. Plat and higher just hope that you don't get players who are boosted. Not a joke. Usually the lowest division of Plat+ is where the boosted accounts sit. It's mainly because the boosted players think they can play at that level, but soon find out they can't so much as walk on their own two feet in said divisions and are pushed down to the lowest divisions. The lucky ones just coast and sit at 0 LP for and incredibly long time because you need to lose like 12+ games to drop ranks from 0 LP.

Depends on the dice roll and your own patience. While technically with enough games and time you should it's not guaranteed. Some people didn't get results until they made new accounts and then found they climbed waaaaaaaaaaaay higher than they ever thought they could while playing on their first.

At the level of Silver, you're most likely not going to have such a bad time as you would in, say, Bronze 5, which is a very awful place to be if you don't deserve to be there. Most of the time, your team can be so bad that you need to play like you're Gold or above to win, or you need to abuse something that most people at that level of play haven't grasped yet. I know this, because that's how I got out of it, and started climbing to Silver. Haven't made it yet because it takes ages, but I'm working on it. Hell, I didn't even get placed Bronze 5 this season, so I'd call that progress.

I feel like, at the beginning of the season, the ranked ladder is all jumbled up. I fell like a lot of players are held back really low, so you end up going against players that are easily gold all the way down in Bronze 3, so you may want to wait a short while until it gets back under control, before you start getting pub-stomped by people who should be in Diamond or something.

But, theoretically, you should be able to climb to your intended position on the ranked ladder. Eventually.

However, just remember, don't play too many games at once, and take a break after losses! Make sure you prevent that tilt.
