Circlejerk all you want, facts don't change.

The mage circlejerk is as self-entitled as the adc circlejerk. They explicitly believed that Mages should be able to spam spells mindlessly without any punishment. https://imgur.com/7myV9a1

I'm glad Riot's punishing people for not learning how to manage mana. https://imgur.com/a/GeA6Mk0

This way the game can proceed to be balanced around skill play instead of which mage can spam more. While we're at it, I hope Riot guts ADC, support, tanks, and diver's mana as well and increase the CD on manaless champs.

If you are going to bash the mage "circle jerk" at the very least you should know what we are "circle jerking" about. The fact that you think we wanna "spam spells" tells me you are absolutely clueless.

Great! Now if you could just convince them that a 100 hp magic only shield is not the same as a literal invincibility button as well, that'd be great. [sg-lulu]

I hope you're talking about kassadin. I was so mad when they nerfed his shield because mages complained how unfair that was, meanwhile yasuo is walking around with a real shield every few seconds.

I was talking about hexdrinker actually, but dame applies to him really.

If you want to play dota 2 why dont you go play dota 2?

The whole point of leauges resource system (or lack of one based on how you view it) is so it wouldnt become dota 2s resource system...

There's a balance between basically having URF levels of no resource management (Basically every mage after Lost Chapter), and having insane levels of it.

Mages should be able to run out of mana after they have Lost Chapter. They shouldn't run out quite as much as they do now before then.

That patch is designed to fix exactly that - Mages all have decent mana pools early on, and worse ones later. Meaning they can no longer go through four extended teamfights without running out of mana, unless they specifically opt into that (Such as having a Tear upgrade, and possibly a Rod of Ages).

Except people at least acknowledge a mage bias here and that their winrates tend to be higher than what the narrative says.

Marksmen mains don't even acknowledge that the fact that marksmen are the only archetype to be overpowered enough to be picked on every team for 8 seasons is a problem. Hell marksmen at the start of last year had a higher pick rate than mages do now and marksmen mains were spamming "adc in 2017"
