Why can Ornn forge sightstone when he can't forge corrupting potion or trinkets?

All three of these are consumable items that can be "refilled" (Sightstone and potion by going to the shop, trinkets by waiting).

So, why is sightstone allowed?

Don't get me wrong; I love Ornn support, but I don't really see what seperates them.

Is sightstone just an exception?

That would be because Sight-stone builds out of an item with stats. It would be dumb to be able to build corrupting potions. He's a forger, not an alchemist.

I'm kinda surprised he can't change trinkets.

He's not meant to be able to get potions to stop infinite sustain, but I don't see why trinkets should be stopped (since changing trinkets resets their cooldown anyway).

"Consumable" in this case refers to anything that doesn't have stats outside of activating it, really. In this case, sightstone. Even if you never EVER place a ward, you still get the added health bonus from its direct stats. Corrupting potion, refillable health potions, control wards, etc all require you to activate them to get any use at all.
