Shen's E should cost less energy as you rank it up, 180 is too much in late game extended fights.

I find it strange that even though Shen has 400 energy and his skills cost over twice as much as some other champions, he still only gets the same amount of energy regen as other champions. With that said the fact that his Q will return more energy in total than it costs (assuming you get all 3 procs off) makes it's somewhat manageable, but once you get around 20% CDR I find myself running out of energy despite my best efforts to keep an eye on it.

Since his late game is already his strong point I wouldn't want to buff it TOO much, but bringing his E down to around 140 would be enough to make it more manageable. Either that or give him more base energy regen, or bump the energy return on his Q & E by 10.

Also I know most people think Shen is super weak right now, but I've actually had a ton of success with him in the Jungle... it feels like that's where he belongs now.

i complained so much about this when i noticed it, he gets energy back but you lose the amount of fun of having a lot of cdr and just having big escapes with him! plus the "double his energy but not his regen" doesnt make sense to me at all

Yeah I agree for the most part, a few changes to energy regen/energy gain to his e would be a nice buff.

I also had no idea people thought Shen was weak, he's an amazing duelist top lane, as long as you're not fighting ranged.

The whole point is to make shen want to get into a fight and stay in a fight. All of the other energy users have energy replenishes that restore a portion of what they spent, where Shen can restore more than he spent. Other Energy champs are forced to fight in bursts, where Shen is encouraged to fight for a very extended time.

If you use Q late game, you restore 120 total energy (using all three hits on an enemy champ) having only spent 100. That means you can actually get more energy back for staying in a fight as opposed to pulling off a combo.

The new Shen is a utility fighter, not a tank, and you should be playing him as such.

Possible buff(?) at level 9 gain 25 energy region per 5. At level 18 gain another 25 energy region per 5. Or increase his energy pool by 100-200 every 9 levels.

Everytime I rank up a Shen ability I feel like I opened a Christmas present and there was nothing inside. The only one that feels like it does anything is leveling his Q. Shadow dash? CD and damage Spirit Refuge? CD...thats it/

What if leveling his Spirit Refuge increased the AOE of it? Or the duration? What if leveling his Shadow dash increased his range? What if taunted enemies did less damage to Shen (a percentage that also scales with level)?
