Riot why does Yasuos windwall block the whole nami ult if it blocks one H molecule in the H2o

Rivuo··85 votes·4,366 views

im just being honest. What kind of load of shit is that.

*One atom, not molecule

Who cares. Lets honestly stick to the point

You can have a molecule of H2 (which, IIRC, is gas at room temperature. It wouldn't be part of the water in Nami's ultimate), but you can only have an atom of H.

I hate Yasuo, but my love for science is stronger.

Akenero26 votes

H2O is a molecule, the hydrogen itself is not. Hydrogen may be bonded to itself naturally, but it isn't in H2O, the hydrogen bonds to oxygen to give it 8 electrons, it doesn't share electrons between itself because it doesn't have any.

Is this post supose to prove him right? because he is right you know... in H20 the hydrogen bonds to the oxygen, not to eachother. The picture you posted is an entirely different molecule and has nothing to do with Akeneros statement.

Also you are way overthinking this whole thing... Nami ulti is a single projectile. You may want that changed, but that desire does not make it a bug.

Because of waters surface tension, and tendency to stick to itself, when one particle goes, it pulls all the rest amirite?

Because Kayle flies faster with boots.

Shit is weird in league.

Maximum Morde4 votes

They are very aerodynamic boots. It's like the dimples on a golf ball that make the ball go farther and faster. By themselves they do nothing, but added to a ball, it works better XD.

Velkoz Imagine him not floating and using his ttentacles to run while wearing boots!

Velzard of Koz2 votes

What about Skarner then... Plenty of boots needed... And what about Elise ? Does she hide the boots in her hair and then pull it out as she tranforms? Questions. So many questions.

Velzard of Koz2 votes

I don't understand what's wrong on this logic. Let me just buy this bow and dagger-looking tooth to make my sword swing faster. Afterwards, I'll buy this cloack which somehow protects me from disintegration ray and giant bomb. Final part of my build is this frozen shield which for some reason fails to protect me from poisonous dart but effectively reduce damage done by giant rocket.

So you want them to code Nami's R to be a million different projectiles?

Thats not fucking realism thats called a bug that needs to be fixed.

You cant get hit by more than 1 ashe W same with Nami ult but yasuos windwall can block a part of ashes W not nami ult

_Its a bug _

Ashe's W fires many different projectiles that are separate from one another.

Nami's ult is one unit.

Once again, realism doesn't translate into gameplay. It is a single large projectile.

Once again there is a difference between realism and a bug.

I dont think you are able to understand the difference so i will not explain.

WhatAGeinius5 votes

No, I don't think you understand what a bug is. Windwall and Nami's ult are both functioning exactly as they were intended to. They are interacting exactly the way that the rules of the game say that they should.

You're claiming that it's a bug because you personally think that it should work a different way because that would make more sense from a perspective of realism, but it isn't a failure or oversight in the programming of the game, so it's not a bug.

We established the fact that this topic was never brought up so there is absolutely no proof that your claims of ''this is working as intended'' is true.

It makes absolutely no sense that yasuos windwall blocks a particle of water yet it erases the whole thing.

WhatAGeinius7 votes

Yes, it is, and yes, it does. 1, Sorry to tell you this but this is not an original complaint, and you are not the first person to make it. It has been brought up countless times before by other people, and it's just as dumb every other time as well.

2, It is clearly working as the rules of the game dictate that it should, and it absolutely does make sense within the rules of the game. This is the problem. You are looking at this from the perspective of "well in real life it wouldn't work that way!!!!" but that has no bearing on how the mechanics of a game actually work. For instance, I could just as easily claim that it makes no sense that Brand can be ignited, that Blitzcrank can be poisoned or feared or really even affected by like 80% of the status effects in the game, that Kayle moves faster with boots, etc.

But all of these things are true because while it doesn't make sense from the perspective of realism, it makes sense from the perspective of the rules of the game, and it makes the rules of the game internally consistent which is what actually matters.

Explain to me how this doesn't make sense.

Windwall is an ability that destroys projectiles when they come in contact with it.

Nami's ult is a projectile.

Therefore, Windwall destroys Nami's ult when they come into contact.

ACENOX4 votes

they made ashe W multiple skillshot to avoid it disappearing completly from yasuo wall

but they refuse to do thisfor nami

Ralanr7 votes

Riot: Nami's ult is now multiple projectiles. Each one knocking you up for an equal amount. Riot: We know that people HATE Yasuo's wall more than chain CC. So we figured putting chain CC on one ability would be worth it to counter Yasuo.

Is that kinda shit really what you want?

Chamuel853 votes

Personally, waves like Nami's should take you with it (it's not a traditional vertical wave like in an ocean). I'd love to see anyone hit by it (and I do mean anyone) to be taken along for the ride. :) Make that lane lvl 6 for Nami really shitty if she gets behind you. :P

Ralanr5 votes

Thought of that once (also made it so it moved along paths rather than through them).

People told me it'd be OP or that it made Nami a Janna with water.

Chamuel852 votes

Yeah, it'd be the easiest way to defend base ever. Tahm Kench Top, ultimate nami behind them hitting your nexus turrets. Wave them into the fountain. :)

Sraeg20133 votes

Yes, sure. They made Ashe's W like that in the Alpha version of the game, just so it wouldn't be fully blocked by Yasuo's Windwall.

What the fuck?

????

the way it was coded yasuo could block ashe entire W just if it blocked one arrow,

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-V4jYCWNHxrQ/VUwv24OZUeI/AAAAAAAApmo/L8pc-G47kWs/s640/wwwwww.jpg

they recoded it to avoid this

Sraeg20133 votes

Is this supposed to be an argument?

Those two pictures show literally nothing even remotely related to Windwall's interaction with Volley.

The indicator is just that, an indicator. It's a painted 2d image that has nothing to do with how the ability actually works.

Look at this mod from 2010: http://img2.leaguecraft.com/skins/asset/skin_0_760px_4488_1.jpg
