Okay i've actually had it with Riot and their buffs/nerfs, they literally don't care about ANYTHING except how a champion performs in Pro matches. If a champion isnt chose for ages, they buff them, likewise if a champion does good in the pro-scene, they nerf them, its ridiculous.

The latest, buffing Renekton, an already overpowered champion in my opinion as a top main. This is a lane bully who supposedly "is designed to win the lane but falls off in the late game", well sorry but that is just stupid. Darius is a lane bully, as is Garen, Riven and Irelia, all strong champs who have ways of winning against them, but with Renekton, nothing works. Try to outdamage him? no chance, try to go full tank? He will just pop his ult and out trade and sustain you with his stupid heal. Try to kite him? he will just double dash towards you. stun and boom you're dead. And NOW riot decides to BUFF him?

Say what you want about me being a noob etc. Ive been aplying league for over 8 years on various accounts so I know a thing or two about the game.

He doesn't have a 50% winrate which seems to be the new metric for balance......its not like some champs deserve to be dumpstered cauterised in starfire because they make you want to scoop your eyeballs out with toothpicks or make you feel like an asthmatic having a holiday in Tartarus every time you face them.

It's because of the grievous wound buff on thornmail and bramble vest. They gave him more sustain to help off set the fact that the grievous wounds now applies for 3 seconds. If you play safe early and get some health and early bramble he's manageable.

Apparently you have been playing for 8 years but don't know how to counterplay. Just be aware of creep positions when you want to trade with him and his rage bar. Rage bar down? trade all day? creeps in a bad spot for him to double dash and get away? Trade all day.

Years experience doesn't necessarily correlate to skill and knowledge. Been playing for 9 years, so if our game experience is what we're going by, then Renekton is fine and actually needs buffs.

No really, I don't even remember the last time I even saw a Renekton, let alone why you're worried about him. Can he get annoying? Sure, but he does fall off pretty hard. I've lost lanes to him in the past but won the game because the enemy didn't capitalize on it.

Because he is one of the few toplaners who can affect the game with his lead while not having 4 dashes and aoe stun and shield. Fuck you Riven.

I don't know why they keep buffing this guy. Like I mean sure, at one point he was somewhat weak to where I could actually fight him when I played against him. But they already kept buffing him back to the point where you just have to sit there and cry in top lane until he gets tired of stepping on your corpse and decides to go to another lane where he can get more gold and you're allowed a small reprieve, that is, until you get to his tower and he's like "Nope, you're not becoming relevant", and that was before they buffed him this time. If they wanna buff him, that's fine, just remove that cancerous stun that goes through even while he's stunned, making it impossible to actually win a trade vs him. They won't though, because they know that's the only reason he's such a strong champion.

Fairly weak champ with limited impact in the mid to late game w/out a massive lead. The buffs don't change his jarring weaknesses (kitability/flash reliance/medium to long cool downs/telegraphed trading patterns). The changes are nice at helping him dominate the side lane for maybe a few to several more minutes of game time but is a bit weaker in assisting his early laning. WR is heavily indicative of champion performance. Not considering the "fun factor". But I personally don't find his trading pattern that toxic (UNTIL he gets spear which is a separate design discussion).

If you really look at the numbers, the empowered healing cap early on is quite low (50 more hp), but scales decently to an increase of 150 before any additional modifiers (spirit visage/DD's/etc). I think it's honestly fair to give him this tad bit more survivability/sustain in such a damage heavy meta especially for those late game teamfights. It's a relatively healthy buff that doesn't actually contribute more damage to the game.

He wouldn't be so bad if he actually fell off and spear of shojin didn't exist in this game.

As it is Renekton feels like a Nasus who didn't need to farm and is strong from lv1. Plus he has a long duration stun and more mobility to boot so he's a raid boss with ult up and has 2 dashes to get in and blow up the enemy ADC.

In lane his healing is so dumb, because you can try to trade back when his stun is down and he'll still outsustain you with that Q heal.

He's the braindead version of Riven.

Riots new how to trigger fiora mains: step 1. Buff fiora and give them hope. Step 2. Buff renekton who fucks her over completly - > success another bunch of people complaining about how shit the balancing team is!

renekton with conq and spirit visage might possibly be the tankiest champion in the game right now. all he needs is a black cleaver for damage and he can go full tank, still one shot people but outheal an entire team focusing him because riot are trying to make every bruiser a drain tank for some fking reason. Like, tanks not only do less damage, but cannot heal back the damage either, bruisers just 1 shot and heal through a teams focus because ya know, reasons.

Theyve been buffing Fiora over the last couple patches purely for duels completely ignoring the fact that her problem is that she cant splitpush for shit. Renektons being buffed and Riven/Jax are still the gods of toplane.

Its such cancer man, I used to hate seeing the occasional Tryndamere/Kennen but this is something else.

Give up CS and play to not die. If he double dashes onto you, chances are he either wasted some fury or he can only use one empowered ability. If he does that you can easily win an all-in so long as no one has started the snowball. Renekton doesn't win by just all inning at the beginning, he uses his first E to engage and chunk you with empowered abilities, then disengage with his second E or else he loses in a sustained trade.
