the bear is a free sunfire tanky minion that can eat people who aren't carefull, and you are telling me that you BUFFED THE BEAR, after how long it lasts for already and the damage it can take and deal. Seriously, why the bear, why not people like sona?

Annie typically didn't build it either. She didn't need to.
Early game she zones because once her stun is ready it has no timeout. This is what makes her so obnoxious as a bot-lane support.
After 6, in mid-lane, you must stay at full health and have an escape ready or her combo will delete you.
For the rest of the game, she counters dives, gets picks from the brush, initiates with Flash+ults, etc.
Her design is archaic and just plain awful. The Tibbers buff was completely unnecessary.

It made Annie predictable.
Is her stun, ult and flash up? Expect her to try and flash ult you.
You can either max range harass her, or all in and burst her before she has a chance to drop Tibbers.
coppinslinger1 votesLol, yeah Annie is really strong in the yung SoloQ becuase of her Linear Kit, Free Defensive Stats, CC, and HUGE damage. Honestly, Annie should never lose lane, you have a targeted stun and like 50 free MR and Armor, and just massive base damage.
I don't play mid, so I may know nothing (Annie mid main's tell me I'm wrong! lol).
But Annie's ability to 1v1 as well as completely destroy teams with her AoE CC and damage is pretty stupid right now. You can literally go 0/8 in lane, then farm up, wait till 40 minutes, 1v2 their back-line with a good flank, then win the game for your team, LMAO.
The shield on the bear is kinda dumb seeing as the AoE damage is already a lot higher than anybody would think.
ReaverCamera1 votesI'm loving the buff, myself. As someone who builds tank Annie (Rylai's, Liandry's, Sometimes RoA, Rab's Cap, etc.) it's gonna help even more for the lack of burst accompanying the removal of DFG
Orangesilk1 votesMidlane Annie is pretty archaic, she gets outranged by most people, yet deleted by most assassins, they want to give her a special identity aside from "The girl with the AoE stun that bursts you" and so, being a bear mage fits this nicely (There are no other bear mages in the league, except for that one AP Voli build)
