So ugh... why exactly can Neeko complete her ultimate with Zhonya's?

Noticed this in several games. Neeko either uses her W to stealth in, or item 3152 and uses her ultimate. If she has item 3157 and freezes herself, it'll complete the channel with you unable to do a darned thing to her and then unleash that massive AoE burst and stun while shielding her. Is this a bug or is it an actually intended piece of coding for her?

Edit: For clarification, I was curious, not upset.

It was intended, it would be nice if Neeko ult gave you a little more time to run away. I think it's fine that she can ult with zhonya's tho.

Swain can do the same

Because its a cast time and not a channel

Why do you want Neeko to die as a squishy mage in melee range with a 2.5 second cast time on ult? May as well removing Morgana’s hourglass+ult combo too.

Mage bias

Because it's not a channel.
