The fact that the original concept of Jhin becoming Kindred aside... What if his motif on his victims, as noted by the waifish girl in the story, are lotus flowers and cherry blossoms as affectations for The Kindred? After all, he's quite obsessed with beauty in death.

There is a reason behind those specific flowers.

Lotuses represent transcendence and purity. Cherry Blossoms represent the frailty of life.

Jhin incorporates both in his theme as he allows his victims to surpass their mundane existence to become something beautiful in their death. The humming I think is just coincidence.

I'm not to familiar with the lore so correct me if I'm wrong ,

Jhin I believe is a bounty hunter and kindred and lamb are spirits that appear in death so maybe when jhin is killing people he hears it bu doesn't know what it is but unconsciously picks it up

Perhaps Kindred Heard it from Jhin? after all, if he sees Beauty in death then He might just be Insane enough to See Her and it makes sense that he might see her often if so, he kills people after all.
