If i play a hyper carry champion like twitch, why do mid laners get mad when i funnel in their lane?

After clearing my jg, i go to their lane to make up for lost scuttle/extra gold. This is on another account but why are they mad? Is this reportable and doesn't it benefit our chance to win if me the hyper carry has massive gold gains? If the akali mid just dies over and over then what use is the gold/cs to her when i can have it with perfectly capable carry potential? Also assassin mages that feed will be 100% useless since they provide nothing but dmg, so shouldn't i just funnel their lane to make up for the dumb feeding?

I understand this may sound like a rude thing to do but if i intend to win then that should be enough justification tbh.

Have you ever thought that maybe the exp and gold deficit you are forcing on your mid laner might have something to do with them losing lane? If you are taking gold and exp from your mid, but the enemy jungle is not, they will fall behind. Considering that most mid laners (especially assassins like Akali) scale hardest from levels, even soaking a bit a couple creeps worth of exp in the early game can snowball the lane in the enemy's favor.

Personally I main Katarina, and I can tell you from experience that it is incredibly frustrating when the enemy laner hits 6 while you are still only halfway through level 5, and zones you from an entire wave or more of exp / gold, or even pressures you so hard under tower that you have to give up multiple waves or risk getting dove.

If you gank and either kill or push the enemy laner out, sure go for it, take some farm and exp, maybe a plate or 2 if you want, because they will miss out on more exp than I will from splitting it, otherwise please don't.

Because an assassin or burst mage isn't funneling you, you're just being a dick stealing farm from a champion who needs gold just as much as you

If it were a Taric mid whatever, but it probably isn't

moral of the story, unless they ask you to help push their lane or hold tower don't touch the minions

Because then your making the akali extra useless. More so than they would be if you just let them farm. This makes it so the enemy team doesnt even need to look at alkali because she does nothing. Now all they have to worry about is killing you because your the "carry" without peel or another target you'll die way too easily

Funneling only really works when the champion giving up gold doesnt really need the gold to be useful as their abilities are useful without scaling for example a champ like taric sion nearly ie any good support that can function on their own.

You stealing their farm and funneling just turns their bad game into a game they dont even wanna play anymore bc at least if there getting farm they can somewhat keep up. But you taking that farm means they might as well go afk.

You get rude responses because your bassically telling your teamate that their useless to the point that they might as well go ask and let you take their farm. It doesnt matter how bad your laner is doing you don't decide to funnel them

People get pissy when you take their lane farm....but it's totally okay when they come in and last hit your camps out from under you later in the game. >~>

Ultimately you're going to need all of your teammates in a capable manner to be a threat. Otherwise the enemy team can steamroll them and control the map via a 4v5. Especially if your team comp is countered by there's, ie if you're playing twitch in a teamfighting comp whereas they're a split pushing comp. Akali wont be able to do anything anywhere to stop a split push, let alone clear waves well. A fed hypercarry can only do so much. If you're killed as well, then that's gg for your strategy. This is a team game. You cant just decide to roll over your own teammates thinking you can take over the game. Absolutely foolish.

if the assassin is alrdy feeding (and most likely missing half their cs) they will be mad any ways. just mute them.

but i dont recommend just randomly going mid and farming their lane. thats not cool
