Because they have an established playerbase and company as well as a big budget for you to work with. As soon as you put your skills on display you'll get picked up by a better company or you can go off and do your own thing.

Or you could just go do it on your own to start off, whatever.

Just no excuses. Hell you don't even have to do anything, just post your matchmaking algorithm right here. Not the code just the general processes. This should be simple for a godly developer such as yourself

keep in mind that this is for a lot of players and a lot more than 1 or 2 games at a time

You don't need to work for riot to post a simple step by step algorithm in this thread. Its not going to kill you if you're such an amazing designer. Do I have to demonstrate or something? What's the problem?
