Morgana is a pretty common pick these days because of her recent VGU and the fact that her blackshield is one of the best abilities in the game.

Many players feel that Morgana is unfun to play against. The fact is that NOBODY wants to be CCed for 47 years. Yes, Morgana has a lot of CC in her kit. That's not why she's picked. She's picked because she stops people like Pyke from being ridiculously obnoxious. And believe me it is really fucking obnoxious.

Anyway, my solution would be to provide the community with an alternative to black shield.

Here it is:

Cleanse should be made into a targeted ability and should essentially function like Mikael's Crucible.

You might think this sounds over powered, but let's be honest here. The amount of CC in this game is absolutely ridiculous at this point. It is entirely possible to be chained CC to the point of being unable to even participate in the game. Right now the only counter play to disgusting champions like Alistar, Pyke, Thresh, and the billions of other CC bots is Morgana's black shield.

Without black shield you are dead if you ever get CCed. Period. There is no way to survive being CCed in this game in season 9. That's not fun for anyone but the person who is CCing you.

So if you want to take power away from Morgana then you need to provide an alternative. This change would also reduce's Morgana's own effectiveness as cleanse is particularly good against her.

Many players feel that Morgana is unfun to play against. In my mind I picture these players as Pyke mains with a lisp screaming at the top of their lungs that their 42 dashes, stuns, regens, executes have way too much counter play. Obviously, these kind of pyke players aren't too bright.

This is why I never bother to read past the first sentence of your posts. You literally cannot go one paragraph or more without insulting someone, berating their champion choice, or talking shit about the balance team.

It's pathetic, learn how to get your point across without putting everyone else down along the way.

All they need to do is lower Black Shield's base values at low levels so that she has to buy more AP and put more levels into it to block an entire mage combo. Black Shield should be like Sivir's spellshield: must be cast right before the important CC hits. Right now she just casts it at the beginning of the combo and it blocks every spell.
