Why isn’t blind given role selection?

Like I really don’t understand why role selection isn’t a thing. Does Riot just like it to be totally blind, as in, you have no idea what you’re getting yourself into even on your own team? It would still be blind, no bans, and no idea what your enemy is picking. This would just help prevent the toxic aspect of “Sorry asshole, I don’t care that you’re not good at support, I called it first, and by the way I’ll report you if you feed!” or even just the no communication instalock of a champion that could go anywhere.

because it blind. you picked roles it would become draft. and if you pay attention you will know that people call roles so their team knows. blind is also known as norms. it's more laid back but people still take it seriously.

Kind of like this idea, but it won't really work considering it will increase the Queue times by quite a lot and most players prefer blind pick to be a gamemode where you can quickly and easily find a match.
