Proposed Changes: Sylas

To preface this, Sylas has been consistently powerful, with 9.5 making him overtuned, and 9.6 not doing nearly enough. While I am for the most part very happy with the Sylas nerfs, I do have some recommendations.

  1. Sylas' E nerf's cooldown is perfectly warranted. I like the changes, and with his Level 1 nerfed, I'm satisfied with this change.

  1. Kingslayer did quite a bit of damage. Executes are nothing new, and Sylas uses it to get close and personal with targets trying to run. How I would have changed his Kingslayer is to reduce the increased damage % on low health targets. I'd recommend a 15% nerf instead of hitting base values, because by hitting base values, it hurts the utilization of W at higher health percentages, which isn't really a problem, but the execute damage is.

Sample calculation:

Current Nerfs Level 3 Sylas with Rank 1 Kingslayer and 15 AP from Doran's Ring, with no adaptive force selected:

50 + 9.75 (59.75) magic damage, empowered to (50 + 9.75) x 1.5 = 89.625.

Recommended Nerfs Level 3 Sylas with Rank 1 Kingslayer and 15 AP from Doran's Ring, with no adaptive force selected:

60 + 9.75 (69.75) magic damage, empowered to (60 + 9.75) x 1.35 = 94.1625

Current Nerfs Level 16 Sylas with Rank 5 Kingslayer and 215 AP from Hextech Protobelt, Lich Bane, and Zhonyas:

150 + 139.75 (289.75) magic damage, empowered to (150 + 139.75) x 1.5 = 434.625

Recommended Nerfs Level 16 Sylas with Rank 5 Kingslayer and 215 AP from Hextech Protobelt, Lich Bane, and Zhonyas:

180 + 139.75 (319.75) magic damage, empowered to (180 + 139.75) x 1.35 = 431.6625

By nerfing his late game execute values with the more items he gets, it nerfs his potential to instantly delete squishier targets, while lessening the impact of his E's early game nerf. As I have said, I am perfectly satisfied with this change, and believe that an early game buff to his overall damage on W would be worth keeping against reducing his E's cooldown again. However, it does still need a general damage nerf, so by hitting his late game harder, it still fulfills the purpose of a nerf.

That's my suggested changes to the Sylas nerfs.
