I recently had a birthday party and cashed in a bunch of LOL gift cards. Since i have most of the champs i want, and the skins i want, i decided to spend them all on chests in the hopes of getting 10 so i can get Hextech annie...Ive opened 70+ and ive only gotten 1!!!!! are they more rare in the ones you buy?
Edit 1: So basically...if i had to only get chest by playing the game...i would never get annie...thats what im gathering lol
Quepha3 votesEstimated at 1 in 25 chests. 1 in 70 is below average but still only a reasonable amount of unluckiness.
It took Anniebot 328 chests to get his 10 gemstones. To buy that many chests would be around $380.
In other words, Hextech Annie is ridiculously overpriced.

Pffffft, I could pay 25 dollars for spirit guard Udyr and that skin looks and feels much better than Hextech Annie probably would
Ozzie Storm1 votesI payed nothing and got DJ Sona xD It's all based on luck, while some pay +300$ for Hextech Annie others can get it for free.
EndlessSorcerer1 votesI think I've gotten 2 gemstones in about 20 chests (also receiving Dragon Trainer Tristana and Gentleman Cho'gath).
It's just a matter of luck.
FistMyViJanna1 votesLook at it Like CSGO. I think the chances of getting a gemstone are about the same as getting a red in a csgo case.
Jbels1 votesOh wow, I completely forgot those were a thing. Riot's going to make more money off of this one skin than any other skin in the damn game, and they're making ANOTHER hextech exclusive. I can't wait to never see that vayne skin. I mean, if you need 10 gemstones to craft HT Annie, and it's been this long with nobody acquiring it yet, then I doubt we'll ever see this new Vayne skin
Rebel 9861 votesi got 4 atm
