Why does Yasuo even need a babysitting "placed outside turret range" ult for?

Long story short instead of people controlling their spamming for a second and not press r at every opportunity they get they instead get tower safety on an already trash excuse of a champ.

pretty much yeah. It also had some interaction with him being on the edge of turret range so instead of doing sth about it they pretty much went "that's a feature now" or some sht.

I personally couldn't care less simply because i permabann him every game. For me he doesn't exist in league when i play.

They do, they're just busy doing their actual jobs most of the time or enjoying their time off. It's understandable, which is why the more the merrier to make sure they see it and show how much we all agree with it.

Some posts that have high upvotes on the front page aren't commented on but then you end up seeing the patch notes delivering on what that post was asking for.

So while they might not comment a lot they're definitely looking (and if you've seen how boards residents like to hound them whenever they do, you'd understand why).

And yeah they do look at all forms of communication as well which splits their attention further (reddit mainly, twitter, etc.).

If Yasuo gets placed outside of the turret range, it only happens if the target is at the edge of the tower range and Yasuo ult doesn't deal damage until he lands so imagine him being placed in the tower range, he will get shot once which is about 150 damage.

Which wouldn’t do anything to yasuo because his ult resets his shield passive.

Shield passive only blocks dmg from champs not turrets minions or monsters.

Not really. His ulti will try to position him outside of the turret range for up to 475 range. Basically, his q range. If you dont believe me go check it out on the practise tool.

As a small question , since his ulti needs a second to deal damage, doesnt that mean that basically he wont take damage until it deals damage? Or does him blinking draw turret aggro?

his ult doesn't deal damage until he lands, therefore doesn't draw minion aggro

Well as i tested it out, the edge that it speaks off is rarther huge. As i said 475 inside the turret (from the literal edge of turret range).

I asked for turret aggro.

To save bad players and inflate the champions power thus his popularity of course same reason he gets a 50% armor cut for 15 seconds no other windowed buff in the game gives anything near that long in the game. Nunu's old passive was the only thing.

Same reason really. Yasuo needs plot armor so the player can feel like the protagonist of the anime that is League of legends.

Because his R places them behind the opponent. This means he'd end up getting shot several times by ulting someone not even in their own fucking turret range without the reposition.

Literally no other champion in the game runs that risk solely on their own kit. Zed might if his opponent stuns him immediately after appearing but that's not happening at most tiers because ping alone can render that impossible before he blinks back to safety.

And let me re-emphasize this point, since people keep fucking missing it:

Then maybe IDK should just calculate whether or not he can dive? I know it sounds weird, i mean, having yasuo players actually think? IF riot really did it for this, then they could change where he is placed during the blink as a whole.

the issue is his ult normally places him behind his opponent and also locks him in position for its entire duration. Therefore if his opponent is right on the line of turret range he's unable to use his ultimate which is not a handicap for just about every other champion in the entire roster.

The coding places him just outside of turret range so he can use it on the edge, HOWEVER, I think its a little too forgiving but to fix it to specific interactions at specific areas underneath a turret based on opponents position and turret ranges would be........ a lot.

Basically its so that a player cannot just hide at the edge of their turret range to avoid being killed by yasuo even if they suck and get hit by everything every time. But what it really does, is make yasuo super safe diving an enemy no matter their position which I don't think is necessarily fair.

On release you could decide where to be put. So, you could still get out of tower range, but it was not so easy for low elo.

Once you get past plat yasuo bans are almost non existent. I mean just look at his op.gg counter list. He has like 10 good matchups mid.
