Why do i gain AS as a tank even though i never build AS on some?

For instance ill have .2 bonus attacks per second on braum, even though i went pure tank.

Every champion (even Jhin) gains more base attack speed as they gain levels, just as they do other stats like health, armor, and so on.

http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Base_champion_statistics has a list of all the champions, their base stats, and how much they go up by each level.

Because you gain certain stats per level like mana, health, regen, and attack speed.

To put is shortly: Each time you level up, all your stats are increased. The only six exceptions to this rule are Alternative Resources (Energy, fury, heat, etc), Ability Power, Range (unless you are Gnar or Tristana), Mov Speed, Crit (both dmg and chance), and Magic Resistance (for a few champions, the rule of thumb is: Melee get Magic Resist per level, ranged don't).

So when you level up you increase your: Health Health Regen Mana Mana Regen Base AD Attack Speed Armor Magic Resist (on some)
