I am not a shit jungler because i did not gank for you
I am a shit jungler if i did not apply map pressure. I'll try to explain map pressure in my silver 3 laman's definition. (alt account) Map pressure could be anything that hinders the enemy or assists the team. This means that -ganking -counterganking -counterjungling -taking objectives -getting visions on the enemy -donating buffs Are all forms of map pressure. (in varying degrees of impact. For example donating a buff is less impactful than securing ocean drake at 10 minutes).
So if i'm playing udyr, it's 15 minutes into the game, i've only placed 2 green and 1 pink wards, and i've done nothing but afk farm our jungle, im most certainly a shit jungler.
If it's 15 minutes into the game, i've given mid blue twice, i've taken dragon, taken the enemy red/blue side jungle, and counterganked so that bot didn't die 3v2 then helped them get turret FB, i'm most certainly not a shit jungler. I could always improve but i'm not shit.
Exceptions that come to mind are
Some jungle champions are designed to gank.
etc. If they don't gank once even when they hit their powerspike (generally level 6), and there are a lot of opportunistic times for them to gank, then they probably are under performing.
If you have anything to add to this post please tell me in the comments.
since apparently a lot of you are missing one important detail, i'll try to explain. Udyr is not an early pressure jungler. He cannot gank all the effectively, he is fairly slow, and not every lane was gankable, if ever. (yasuo was always pushing nasus to tower, leblanc was mid, and we didn't have an ADC (ap ziggs bot)). If a late game jungler does not ramp up into the late game then there is an issue. If an early game jungler like nid/lee does not apply a lot of early map pressure there is an issue. There is a lot more nuance in this game then "you didn't gank enough, you suck at league"
