I highly, highly recommend not playing a game of league, ESPECIALLY, not a ranked game. My friend and i almost lost a ranked game because of a garen that had to go take care of kids. I can understand that you are a functioning adult that needs to go and do those things to be a good parent, but i cannot understand why playing a game of ranked when you knew that you were going to have to repeatedly AFK. At the very least play a game of aram. This applies to kids who are trying to squeeze in a game before school, an adult trying to play a bit before work, ETC.

As a father to a 4month old child. knowing when you may have to AFK is completely random when they can wake up from a nap at anytime, or start screaming their head off and you need to spend 5mins going through a checklist of what could be wrong from changing a diaper to giving them gas drops or feeding them (which can be another 5+ mins). Same thing when your wife gets home earlier than normal from grocery shopping and you need to bring them in.

Generally i dont have this problem, but it has occurred before. You dont always know when you have to AFK when you have kids or when something occurs irregularly. But does that mean i shouldnt play a normal or rank?

That being said, If someone has an emergency, and has to leave, Dont spam X9 reports. Seriously if it's a habitual thing leaverbuster will pick it up anyway, so just let it be, don't get all tilted, and mad about it.
