Riot I think it's time to revert the Ryze rework

Ever since the rework of Ryze he has been consistently the worst performing and lowest win rate champion for both top and mid lane according to champion.gg .

When playing as Ryze in teamfights at best you can rotate through one cycle of spells before you are either dead or lost the teamfight. Realistically speaking, the only situation when Ryze can win a 1v1 or a teamfight skirmish is if the enemy is afk or dc'd. Overall, Ryze as of now feels very unsatisfying, extremely unfun to play, and too easy to win against.

Riot, I think it's time to revert the Ryze rework.

he wasnt performing poorly.

he just has a steep learning curve. hes a champion whos incredibly difficult to pick up compared to other champions and chances are you will suck donkey dick with him for like 200 games.

its more of an Azir situation.

but people who stuck with him and mastered him actually managed to get absurd winrates and were extemely opressive, and neigh impossible to deal with on most champions. hence why hes been nerfed again since his rework.

his overall winrate is just terrible because more people pick him up, perform poorly and drop him again, than the people who stick with him.

while this rework didnt fix what was wrong with ryze, neither will a revert of the rework.

honestly theres a few champs that could use a real good reworking.. but hey its all about match ups and lanes. everyones too worried about what lane theyre in. people could learn to adapt shit wouldnt be a problem

doesn't help matters that ryze only cost 450 ip for a champ that has more combos than a 4800 ip champ

Hell no. The last version of Ryze literally had 85% snare time. If he caught you, he could just chain snare you and definitely could outdamage you. It was awful.
