I have an idea for a Udyr passive change

I don't know if this is the correct place, but it seems like it should be.

As of right now, Udyr's passive is redundant (For reference: Each time Udyr switches stances, he gains 5 flat movement speed and 10% attack speed for 5 seconds. This effect can stack up to 3 times.) Instead of adding anything new for him to work with, it just tacks on more stats he can already get from his Q and E. How about instead of giving more of the same stats, we give him something different. Here is what I'm considering, please give feedback and maybe even your own ideas. I am looking forward to reading them.

Passive - Mongoose's Tenacity: Each time Udyr switches stances, he gains 3/4/5/6 Armor and Magic Resist and movement slowing effects are reduced by 7% for 5 seconds. This effect can stack up to 5 times. At 5 stacks, Udyr gains a buff based on his last ability cast. Tiger Stance: +15% Armor Penetration. Turtle Stance: +200% Health Regeneration. Bear Stance: Basic attacks grant Udyr 8% additional movement speed for 2 seconds. Phoenix Stance: +15% Magic Penetration.

The idea of giving him tenacity as passive is a nice concept, but I think you should not add to much to the mix (currently: 30 AR/MR and 35% tenacity + ability bonus). The buffs at 5 stacks appear to be too strong and kinda redundant, as you will always try to get the passive from tiger stance when you attack and turtle stance when farming, because the other effects are not as usefull.

No penetration (because he doesn't have damage problems). revised Turtle and Bear stance are stupid (adding regen and taking away shield + LS's a huge nerf. why on-hit MS? do you want him to be kited to death?)

I like the tenacity idea (even though it's not included as a stat)... How about we add some tenacity on top of his MS and AS stack on his passive? :D

your proposal sounds like something Stashu would make up... are you stashu?

I think OP meant for the 200% regen to be in addition to the shield and LS for turtle

he's replacing shield (the activation effect!)

Tiger still gives AS, on hit DoT, and bonus damage on hit, Turtle still gives a Shield and LS, Bear gives MS, stun on hit, and pathing still, and Phoenix still gives you the wave effect and the on hit AoE cone.

None of that is changed, it's just having 5 stacks gives you an additional buff based on your last used ability.

The stance bonuses are all independent from the actual stances. The stances themselves would remain the same. What would you suggest replace the Tiger and Phoenix buffs? Or should the old passive just have a slow blocker attached to it instead of movement speed?

yes on the slow blocker reduction idea. we he needs to have something to help him with movement because that's the only way he can do damage. (he's not Darius with an aoe grab, or a moderate ranged aoe ability, nor is he LeeSin with half a gap closing options) but we don't want him to have a permanent MasterYi ult...

Why does he need changes on tiger and phoenix? Udyr's actually the closest to being balanced we can get... (aside from the annoying backdoors that can be dealt with). Changes to his damage would actually set him over the top (if these are meant to be on top of his stance activations).

movement slowing effects are reduced by 7%

it would have to be only when running towards enemy, since he'd be pretty difficult to chase down.

What if it was reduced to 4%?
