what should fizz's identified as a ap assasin or a ad bruiser

Hey everybody i was wondering if anyone at riot or anyone at all would tell me on what should fizz belong as we all remember on how ap fizz could literally one shot ppl pretty much and ad fizz can be tanky and still kill tanks. My question is what does riot want the identity for fizz to be. Because as a fizz player its getting kinda frustrating having to change around him with all the changes making ad fizz the new meta and how everytime he comes back theres nerfs that come with him. I just wanna know what is riots mission with fizz as a champion. I don't want him to be gutted on account him being good at what he does. Just curious too see what riot has in store for the future of fizz.

I would classify him as AP Fighter (or AP Bruiser if you'd prefer) as he is currently, since he relies mostly on his W for damage. In fact, based on the proposed PBE changes found here on Surrender at 20, this will continue to be the case, as his proposed W's passive and active scaling is on par with Teemo's Toxic Shot on a scaling per hit basis before applying the % missing health effect.
