The chain used to have a slow attached to it - She's so much ridiculously weaker than she used to be that people still complaining about her is laughable.

She didn't even NEED the chain to kill people before - QRW was her kill combo

The guy in the video whiffed almost all of his chains and still killed people easily in less than a second.

How is the new one any better at killing turrets? The old one could just push with WR combo, and R had a faster cooldown pre-rework anyway.

New LB's Q-bounce waveclear has been nerfed like crazy so its not that great anymore for pushing.

Oh old Le Blanc wave clear was even worse than that. I wonder how long you have been playing this game? She was pretty shitty in season 2 for sure. Had one of the worst win rates even though she can easily 100-0 people. But that was all she could do. With how this game changed and towers are now paper and AP giving you tower damage. Le Blanc's issues disappeared.

Also people started maxing W on her instead of Q.

I've played this game since beta and mained LeBlanc since her release in 2010 right after her hotfix.

She had a low winrate among people who didn't know how to play her - she was a niche pick and was only really played by onetricks and mains, and had a bad reputation like old Eve since people thought she was a win lane lose game champion. She's also always had a high skillcap and skillfloor since its very easy to mess up your combo and die with her, and even more potential for error after the rework since you can get locked into her ultimate, blocking you from porting back to your W.

She wasn't shitty in season 2 at all - she had silence, 100-0 instant burst on carries, and next to no mana cost. She had no equal in burst, except a farmed Veigar. I remember one particular match against a Karthus who let me get a lead on him, and then I'd W forward -> QR and kill him with nothing except QR hitting him. You could also chain silences together for a solid 4 seconds of CC, not even counting the snare.

She started maxing W because her ult was reworked. Originally, it amplified the copied spell's damage by a %, instead of having its own independant damage. So, if you maxed anything other than Q, your overall burst was very weak and you were forced to copy W until you hit lv 13, so no one did it.

I maxed W when people would counterpick me with Galio or Sion, but outside of that, you had to max Q.

Old LB could simply RW a wave and roam and the R would be back up by the time she got to a lane because of its short CD.
