I go 8-2 in my 10 provisional matches and get put into B5?!?!?! Are you intentionally trying to send people the message that there is no hope to move out of bronze no matter how well they do?!?!?! This is not only deperessing, but demoralizing,too!
If you can't carry bronze matches, you deserve to be bronze.
So you've pretty much wasted your time and money if you purchase RP to buy champs/skins with if you do poorly in ranked in your first ranked season because Riot makes it disturbingly difficult to move out of bronze...its as if they want you to create new accounts that you level to 30 and completely disregard your old account because they wont let you move out of bronze no matter how well you play
A b4 to a b5 drop isnt exactly worth complaining about.... Were you expecting to be placed higher than you finished?

Yes...they don't care about the players, only making more money. The way they see it is, if you haveto create a new account because you bought a lot of skins, you will become just as vested in your new account and buy more skins...that way they can double-dip customers by not allowin them to move up if they improve their play over time

I have not done Ranked this season but maybe Riot is using your personal performance (you know that rank you get at the end of the match S,-S,A,-A, ect) So that those that are carried are not placed in ranks they cant compete in.
What was your placement last season?
The way they see it, is that the better you are, the more likely you are to carry others to higher ranks, thus setting you at a lower rank.
