I find that it is incredibly difficult to avoid toxic players in ranked. It's contagious! One toxic player leads to other players becomng toxic when they start to defend themselves....so I ask you?
How would you like a "Mute all" button in game to silence everyone and rely solely on pings?
this already exists in the form of /mute all
you know what i find more toxic and infurating than the ramblings of one feeding team mate?
the "team player" who mutes everyone, ignores all pings, and does WHATEVER comes into their little heads disregarding the entire team. when in reality im screaming at you to group up and leave lane beyond 25+minutes so we can win an easy team fight or take an inhib/baron, while you freeze farm at a t1 or t2 turret. or take gromp....
do not mute anyone, ever.
and START using YOUR pings. because i can already tell you ignore them 100%.
mute is never a good thing, its a fall back to stop a distraction. you are literally ceasing communications with your team mate for your own comfort.
troll? racist? intentionally throwing? whatever. but someone whos 0/4 telling you what to build so you dont die. or the one support pinging danger 5x over you top lane while you're pushing into the enemy turret. dont you dare mute that person.
its your responsibility to work with your team mates. and muting them isnt helping.

Pings are enough. Even if muting everyone makes it harder to win it also makes the game that much more fun. Winning isnt everything.
