I don't think tanks should be solo carries, am I the only one?

I'm sorry it's not role favoritism or anything, but tanks don't have to do anything that other classes have to do to solo carry,

they don't have to vision battle like supports and provide disruption constantly / roam like a beast,

they don't have to be better than their opponent and get far ahead in gear and still play cautiously but take all the right risks

they don't have to be geared as a mage to burst or sustain / survive

They just exist, get gear, and eventually you cannot kill them if you don't have the right team comp, perfect example would be why the Taric mid and Yi jg combo exists and has been exploited into challenger, they don't even require gold in some cases their base stats are too fucking high

by definition the strat your reffering to isn't a solocarry,

but tanks carry the game in a different way. if I can lock you down while remaining alive long enough for my carries to deal damage, im carrying indirectly.

Taric isnt doing the carrying, he just adds CC, heal and invul. You dont need gold, gear or items to CC or use your base abilities
