literally everyone hates the champion, its almost 100% pick and ban across the planet, and Riot doesn't see a fuckign thing wrong, and actually puts proposed buffs up for a bit just to fuck with you

Someone’s opinion of a champion is not the same thing as that champions actual current strength.

i'm not giving an opinion, his play rate, and ban rate are INSANE compared to other champions, not sure why a moderator is jumping into discussions giving an opinion about a fact

People think he’s overpowered, therefore they ban him or pick him when he’s up.

Statistically and factually, this isn’t the case.

Riot does consider player frustration when balancing, sure, but that only goes so far. They won’t gut a champion just because people don’t like him and won’t put in the (relatively small) effort to learn how to play against them.

You are, however. You are of the opinion that "everybody" hates Yasuo. As it is not backed by any kind of facts, data, studies, or anything else to empirically support the claim, it can only be an opinion.

That is true. However, playrate and banrate do not equate to a champion needed nerfs, or not being deserving of buffs.

Why is his playrate high? Because he's a flashy, edgy, "cool" champion, and because he's fun. That's it. It boils down to Yasuo being fun to play. Why should a champion be nerfed because he's fun?

Why is his banrate high? Well, his banrate is high in low-tier because people simply don't know - or don't want to know - how to fight him. They'd rather just ban him and not fight him than to play around a few things. Which is fair, as there are a lot of things you have to watch with Yasuo - Where he is, how ready his shield is, if his W is ready, if his tornado is ready, whether or not he can dash to you...That's a lot for anyone, especially a lower-skilled player, to keep track of. Also, Yasuo is often notorious for either going 15/0 or 0/15 seemingly at random, and people don't like to have that chaotic element on either team. However, his playerbase being chaotic and you having to keep track of a bunch of things is hardly reason to leave him bad, is it?

Also, as Avantel said, people always think Yasuo is overpowered because we've all had times where a Yasuo single-handedly rolled over our team.

Because moderators are people too, and they're very capable of giving opinions, suggestions, and facts of their own.

lord, people are actually defending yasuo nitpicking at an obvious exaggeration, ignoring the actual fact that he's almost always pick or ban, and is too strong, i say everyone hates him because he is complained about constantly, just like season 4 Lee sin was and Riot ignores it entirely

He also has a high ban rate in high elo, but that's because he's almost useless more often than not lmao

He's extremely easy to fuck up on and a lot of people ban him because they want a teammate who's slightly more likely to be useful

and Riot doesn't see a fuckign thing wrong, and actually puts proposed buffs up for a bit just to fuck with you

Weird buffs, yeah, but he's in a good spot right now. Arguably the best spot he's seen in a long time.

They pulled the buffs because they were unhealthy. And I play Yas, and I knew full well the buff was not the right one. If they buffed his R, he'd reach 100% ban very likely again. He just needs some balance work in the preseason.
