They were going to make crit adcs playable again, and ADC in general viable in the botlane again and said, no wait, lets undo all that and nerf an item no one buys already
great balance team, guess making Akali more broken than 6 item pre rework poppy is what's important right now.
I admit I'm really frustrated by the revert to zeal items but I am interested in the ramifications that 50% extra crit damage against minions and monsters will have. If IE had a little crit on it, that would make it a half decent rush item for ADCs possibly looking to jungle. As it stands now, though, I dont see what benefit it has...
Overall, I was super excited for some QoL changes for crit based ADs but now I'm just kind of sad and disappointed... maybe the changes will make a return in a later patch. I want to be optimistic because they seemed genuinely interested in making that class of champions feel more satisfying.
Maybe if were lucky thevhanges will come back next cycle
