Katarina, um?

I wanted to get everyone's opinion on Katarina: from my perspective, her kit, to put it simply, sucks. I recall when I first played League, Katarina was a regular choice encountered with the same frequency as Yasuo or Zed. However, after her rework, her appearances equaled a fraction of her prior play-rate.

Perhaps I just do not know how to use her, fair, (I thought new Eve sucked for awhile LOL), but her passive seems a little too random for the precision required of an assassin champion. Am I missing something? Thanks.

I couldn't agree more. Her counterplay? Walk away from her daggers. That's it. Granted, she's very hard to use, but the fact that her targets can just walk away from her daggers explains why. Personally, I'd be down if Riot reverted her kit, but that's never going to happen since so many people like the new Kat. That said the only successful rework that came the assassin update was the Talon update. They've already reverted LeBlanc and they partially reverted Rengar, but Kat? I'd rejoice if they were to revert her, but then I'd cry knowing that she's actually viable again.

I think a revert would put kat in a hate spot again just like LB and Rengar. Honestly her passive is fine by me and the counterplay too. I hope riot would focus a bit more into W or E (W take too much time to left the dagger under her and on late game it's basically a wasted spell since the enemy has alredy kill you or is alredy dead and E has a small cast time that's unecessary because she has alredy got counterplay by the dagger mechanix).

i love the new kat over old, old kat felt like kat was playing the game, this kat feels like the player is inputting their own thoughts into what they wanna do, you dont just e w r and hope everything works out, you have to position yourself and everything, kat is awesome

53% win rate, 5% play-rate. She's completely fine and requires zero attention from Riot beyond at best some minor quality of life touch ups to her animations and what-not.

Easily the most successful project from the assassin rework.

Katarina is at a great spot right now. Reason for her not being played as much is cause she became too hard to play and not a face plant champion. She is balanced and needs a small nerf as well, a revert is out of the question, she is in her best state ever right now.

with a 68% win rate, at plat1, with 150wins this season, I have NEVER not seen a Kat go atleast 10-0 after finishing 1 item. I cant take Kat players complaints seriously, that champs powerspike lasts for like 30minutes.
