I have always loved Cass, but I can never seem to do well with her, and it seems like she has a TON OF bad match ups. I want to play her but it looks as though every popular mid lane champion counters her. Help with runes and masteries as well as builds would be super helpful. Summoner spells too! I really need help.

You hit the nail on the head with that one.
Actually, with her new W, she can fair pretty well against a lot of popular mids. Ahri is the first that comes to my mind. Yasuo could be considered a skill matchup. Basically anything that relies heavily on a dash is screwed by Cassi's W. It just takes a little practice, and she's much more forgiving now than before.
