Autochess Ranked

How are people enjoying TFT RANKED? It's not my cup of coffee since all I see is ARAM Ranked on auto pilot, it is not to my liking but for those of you who do what is the appeal to it? I don't understand? You could do great all game but there is always the chance that you never get what you need when you need it which in turn could ruin not just your win streak but also cost you the game. I've played a few games now, (unranked of course) most of the time I start with (you guessed it) wild/sorcerer and play around that. Often time's i'm doing great all game, win some battles lose some battles. Play my cards right and I'll be on a win streak but then late game rolls around and everyones got rank 3's while im sitting at rank 2's needing JUST one more of the same card which never appears maybe im just unlucky but I said "fuck it" and re-rolled 50+ gold into it to see if I would ever get it and to no one's surprise it never appeared. (i'm talking about EITHER these were the four rank 2's I had that only needed 1 more copy to upgrade.
