Look at the queue times if you want to see what mode is played more.

The number of people playing H.A. is far more than playing ranked.

The number playing anything is more than playing ranked.

How can you tell? Queue times. If there were that many people playing ranked, it would have the shortest queue times, not the longest. Riot would not have to work at trying to make queue times shorter. So stop going on about ranked being the "competitive" mode. It is the unimportant mode. The game would be better off without it.

Then riot would be stuck with doing real balance for all the rest of the modes. Making the modes that real people play all the time more fun.

The rift is NOT where competitive play happens ... it happens everywhere in a game. Every mode. Even if coop vs A.I. The people that play, are playing a game (even in ranked). None of the modes are "serious" they are all "just for fun" ... it is a game. So drop the attitude that any mode is more than any other. It is false pride.

Ranked is far less popular because it appeals only to those that need external affirmation of their value. How do you know it is far less popular? Because of queue times. If there were thousands of people lining up to play ranked, the queue times would be seconds, not minutes.

Actually you votta factor in thay blind and ha dont need to take roles into preference. Ranked needs 2 of every role ha just needs 10 plauers. Coop vs ai is full of bots and only needs have the players.

I'd say balance is so horrendous that ranked isn't worth it; if you don't have more of the abusive picks then you loose. At least aram gives a change of pace with the unusual team combinations.

For me blind normals should have the scores removed and no nexus just a 20 minute timer.

Its where you can make your most ridiculous champion picks into the dumbest role and it doesn't matter.

Non ranked W or L and scores are meaninglessness basically an arcade mode.

If you are saying game balance is too focused on pro play then you may have a point.

The balancing factor is you can play any champ you feel is unbalanced as well giving you this huge imaginary advantage.

That is faulty logic. There's a lot of reasons why ARAM has shorter queue times than Ranked:

  1. The matchmaking is more loose, leading to more players being "acceptable" to be matched with.
  2. Lack of role selection makes it so that any 5 players that are "acceptable MMR" to be put together instantly.
  3. Premade sizes are less strictly controlled in ARAM.
  4. Shorter games in ARAM means the same pool of players is available to make more games.

Queue times are in no way an accurate representation of player numbers, and you certaintly cannot compare the competitiveness of a random champ gamemode to Ranked.
