Queuing with Support Secondary

Since the change to the ranked queue it seems like if I queue solo with mid + support I consistently get support. This does not make sense to me, the primary role should be what's searched for and the secondary only if there's no space. I really don't care if my queue is 2 minutes instead of 5. I don't like that I keep having to stall my climb on a throw away role. I got queued support 3 times in a row despite my primary role being mid. I don't believe mid lane is so populated that I can't possibly be queued in an open game. It wasn't this way last season, I don't see why it should be this season.

I queue jungle/support.

I have literally gotten 2 support games all season. Possibly 3.

Mid is the most que up role in the game. Why don’t you pick a different role if support is a throw away role like you said?

mid is literally the most contested role in the game as of currently.

its literally the only one that isn't dog shit that gives pretty big impact on the game.

You're queuing up for the most popular role and one of the least popular roles (Jungle being the other right now due to the jungle changes). You're better of putting top as secondary if you want to get mid more often because top is the second most popular role. Either that or queue up with someone whose primary role is support.

Mid is the most popular role. I don't know why anyone wants to play a role where you literally can never have enough wards to not get ganked, but that's the way it is.
