Afk LP penalty

I have a novel thought. When a person goes afk and fails to return to their ranked game to finish say 50% of the game, can they absorb some of the LP loss they caused. E.g they take +10 LP loss while their team takes -5 LP loss? This way they can’t dodge to save their team LP exactly but will be incentivized to rejoin. Currently if they drop they just tell themselves “I guess I lost that one, I’ll make a sandwich and play later”.
