I love the new skin and video. They added a little color to the mask but I think it’d be super sick if when stepping into the shroud the jacket showed some green highlights and the hair lit up. What do you all think?

Agreed, I was so disappointed after buying this skin to find no Blacklight paint when she shrouds :(
Definitely a Chroma would be better, then we could always see it. Plus having bright colors in her shroud would be very un-ninja-like...

So surrender@20 just got updated with some new Star Guardian skins and also a new double skin sort of like the Rogue/Paragon Butzcrank. They are starting to throw around a new term known as "Variant skins". Pretty much it's the same exact skin in terms of V/O, Particles, recall, etc, but with a different model. To quote the site "... we’re calling a “Variant.” Basically, they give us more opportunities to creatively explore different theme, skin, and champion combinations, which we think is pretty awesome for our players and artists. "
Now i know people are already having discussions about price and worth and all these topics but i just want to say that this could easily be the correct solution for us. If it's "too much" as a chroma then it could easily be a variant. Sure it will cost a little more, but honestly i'm not upset about that as long as it's done well enough.
Either way, supporting this blacklight idea 100%. Surprised riot didn't jump on this from day one anyway. Also fix the garbage merch with good merch pls :c Masks and nice hats, not dad hats and crappy logos..
This is actually a great fucking idea instead of just making it a Chroma. Look at Evelynn. When she stealths, guess what? She puts on the glasses!
I think there is already a small hint of the K/DA color scheme incorporated in her Shroud. It's not too colored in because they're trying to keep the look of her shroud as static is possible for competitive integrity.
Yea definitely. I grabbed the skin because I was expecting that sick black light spraypaint from the video was indicitive of something from her skin but nope. No such luck. Black light shroud would be amazeballs!
its a lot to ask for a 1350 skin tho. it has the particle changes already. I want at least a mask toggle. I wish riot would see these and take in some input for it. But you know it rarely if ever happens

Totally agree. The fact that the skin isn't nearly as colorful (or distinctive) as in the video is a huge miss. I hope the visuals weren't nerfed because of competitiveness, although I feel maybe more could still be done.
