Does the balance team play this game?

Do they? That's an honest question. At least do they play Top lane, at all? If they did, I don't know how Darius could remain in the overtuned state he's in if they did. Or maybe they do, and the person calling the shots is a Darius main. I honestly am perplexed by it. Don't get me wrong, I love playing Darius. He's my second highest mastery champion. Playing Darius top is empowering. You literally feel like Thanos. He walks into lane essentially already fed. Ignite? No you don't need that, take ghost. Let them overextend just once just alittle. Ganks from enemy jgr? You ward not so you know when to run, no. You ward so you know when you're about to get a double kill. Think about it. Level 3, when Darius has all 3 of his abilities which makes him very hard to get away from (unless you burn flash, which only delays the inevitable). If he starts Dorans blade, which you can against literally all melee matchups, he has 92AD. That 92AD turns into 132AD in 4.5 seconds. 132.... That's FOUR longswords. He get's FOUR longswords at level 3, in 4.5 seconds. Yeah... Also, he doesn't even need to get his last auto off on you. Cause the bleed damage will do the rest, and if he does take ignite? So playing this champion gives you the feeling that you get when your doing well and get fed on a normal champion. Except with Darius, it's pretty much every game. At least as far as laning phase is concerned. I know his winrate isn't insane or anything, so his extremely dominant laning phase isn't contributing to an overall win. And I feel like that's a problem with League, and not so much Darius. There's too much CC, too much mobility, too much invisibility, too much cdr. And it doesn't matter how fed or huge a Darius is with those kinds of obstacles. CC, mobility, etc. counters even the most fed champions. So it's actually quite ridiculous that someone who's laning phase is so oppressive as Darius, that his win rate is not through the roof. Let's talk about this. Because it is a problem.

Juggernaut doing Juggernaut things

Next one complain when Xerath pokes you

That's what juggernauts do, bully any immobile melee champ, only problem is, there aren't any immobile champs played, expect them and few tanks.

Don't want to be rude, but if you are losing into Darius, you might be doing something wrong.

I would personaly rather attack any ranged toplaner(from Lulu in early seasons to Vlad, Neeko, Kennen, Vayne nowadays)

Hahahaha! Darius???

As a GM non-Darius player i can safely tell you for certain he is not overowered in the slightest. On top of just having counterplay built into his kit, he also has so many bad matchups to include literally every ranged top laner.

Play Aftershock Cho Gath, you will never see a Darius player cripple in more fear

Don't die before level 6 and stay even in Gold and XP, then just farm him after you have ultimate

He Qs? You Q

He wants to do anything else? Silence

He is close to you and low HP? Enjoy supper!

Well playing against Darius 'I' feel like Thanos coz the moment he tries to land a Q I dash into his inner range and it's gg for him.

Darius is only good against immobile melees not named Aatrox or Yorick, and even then he dies too easily.

With that said, I cannot understand why Riot still insists on bugging his damage when it's his lack of tankiness which is the real problem. His Q damage buff was one of the most brain-dead decisions mage by them.

There's no runner up in Laning. You either win or lose. Sure not dying is as simple as letting yourself get zoned off the wave. But ending laning phase with zero deaths but 40-50cs down is still losing.

Hashinshin has been saying it for years: there's not a single person who plays or understand top lane in the balance team and this is a major drawback to the general health of the lane.

Ballance team does play this game, they play:

Riven Vayne Zed

and some other AD champs.

They love mobile, AD, assassin stuff...

That's why you have to manage ur wave and stick close to turrent and only do quick trades. Darius damage isn't that exceptional before he stacks the passive on you.

Sadly, people forgot about Olaf , The juggernaut shitstomper. You wanna play Garen ? True damage. You wanna play Darius ? Constant slow and healing through bleed. You wanna play Illaoi? Get ranged harassed until you're low enough for him to just kill you before pulling anything? Mordekaiser ? Ha, no. Volibear ? You can try, but Olaf 's kit is just better in the long run of things vs his kit. Nasus ? Nice W, too bad your passive gives you attack speed to completely negate plus your unstoppable ult.

All these low elo players complain about Darius, Illaoi, Garen, etc without knowing how easy, it is to just curb stomp them with this Glorious Viking.
